Cao is an associate of Hanoi office. His law and agency practice encompasses such matters on patent and relating IP rights as preparation and prosecution of patent applications in material science and physics, providing advice on strategies for maintenance and protection of intellectual property.
Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate of Law Review under the administration of the Ministry of Justice. He studied at the University of Social and Human Sciences where he received his Bachelor of Philosophy.
Cong is a patent attorney, not only has extensive knowledge of intellectual property, but also has direct experience in diverse technical fields, ranging from robotics (Mechanical Laboratory - Hanoi University of Science and Technology) to software engineering (DASI Center - Hanoi University of Science and Technology), mechanical design engineering (Everbridge Vietnam company; Cimas Engineering company) and manufacturing engineering (Canon Vietnam company; Vicostone company).
The firm advises clients on patent issues and strategies in Vietnam, and handles other patent and design related proceedings. Cong graduated with a Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Law. He also received a Certificate in Biology from the Vietnam Science and Technology Foundation; Certified by Japan Patent Office and IP Institute - Singapore.
Nga is patent attorney in Hanoi office. Her capabilities span the entire patent field, from consulting with clients and managing cases, to drafting patent specifications, to translating specifications into Vietnamese, to interviewing examiners of the NOIP to accelerate the examination process.
She earned a Bachelor of Electronics and Telecommunications with high marks from the HCMC University of Technology, and then earned a Diploma of foreign languages from English Division of HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Prior to joining WINCO in 2011, she spent 7 years as an engineer in FPT Telecom and Siemens Vietnam. She also completed many IP training courses organized by WIPO, ASEAN IPA, and the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.
Hanh has been a member of Winco since 2015. She graduated from Hanoi National University and the University of Language & International Studies – Vietnam National University. Her practice emphasis is on the areas of patent, industrial design and copyright in Vietnam. She is experienced in provision of advice on strategies for maintenance and protection of intellectual property subject matters.
She also attended some training courses in patent law at the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam (NOIP) and got the Certificate.
Van is an experienced patent translator. She has translated over 700 patent specifications in the electronics, telecommunication, and mechanical fields. Prior to joining WINCO in 2015, Van spent three years as a researcher in the Physics Lab of the Hanoi University of Science, and than 15 years in a large local IP law firm. Van earned a Master degree in Engineering Physics from the Hanoi University of Science, and a Bachelor degree in Foreign languages from the Hanoi University of Foreign languages.
Chung is a patent translator in WINCO’s Hanoi office. Chung’s extensive background in engineering allows him to analyze and understand technical systems from both the view of a translator and the perspective of an engineer. Chung spent five years as an engineer in Vietnam Electricity Corporation and twelve years as a patent translator in local law firm before joining WINCO in 2015. Chung holds a Bachelor degree in Automation Engineering from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Minh graduated from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2004. Her practice emphasis is on the areas of patent, industrial design and plant variety protection both in Vietnam and other countries. She is exclusively experienced in provision of advice on strategies for maintenance and protection of intellectual property subject matters. She also attended some training courses in patent law at the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam (NOIP).
Prior to joining Winco in 2014, she worked for some international technical and design consultancy companies with the specific focus on preparation of Vietnamese or English translation of technical documents in the fields of Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Ventilation, Lifting and Transportation Systems.
