Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh

Cong is a patent attorney, not only has extensive knowledge of intellectual property, but also has direct experience in diverse technical fields, ranging from robotics (Mechanical Laboratory - Hanoi University of Science and Technology) to software engineering (DASI Center - Hanoi University of Science and Technology), mechanical design engineering (Everbridge Vietnam company; Cimas Engineering company) and manufacturing engineering (Canon Vietnam company; Vicostone company).

The firm advises clients on patent issues and strategies in Vietnam, and handles other patent and design related proceedings. Cong graduated with a Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Law. He also received a Certificate in Biology from the Vietnam Science and Technology Foundation; Certified by Japan Patent Office and IP Institute - Singapore.

Nga is patent attorney in Hanoi office. Her capabilities span the entire patent field, from consulting with clients and managing cases, to drafting patent specifications, to translating specifications into Vietnamese, to interviewing examiners of the NOIP to accelerate the examination process.

She earned a Bachelor of Electronics and Telecommunications with high marks from the HCMC University of Technology, and then earned a Diploma of foreign languages from English Division of HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Prior to joining WINCO in 2011, she spent 7 years as an engineer in FPT Telecom and Siemens Vietnam. She also completed many IP training courses organized by WIPO, ASEAN IPA, and the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.

Chung is a patent translator in WINCO’s Hanoi office. Chung’s extensive background in engineering allows him to analyze and understand technical systems from both the view of a translator and the perspective of an engineer. Chung spent five years as an engineer in Vietnam Electricity Corporation and twelve years as a patent translator in local law firm before joining WINCO in 2015. Chung holds a Bachelor degree in Automation Engineering from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Phuong is an Associate at the Hanoi Office of WINCO with over 7 years of experiences in intellectual property field. She graduated from Hanoi university of foreign studies, majored in English. She earned her master degree in applied linguistics at Latrobe University. Prior to joining WINCO, she was lecturer of English at Hanoi University and translator at Primary Teacher development Project (MOET)

Lan graduated from Ha Noi University of Technology (Chemical Technology). She was also awarded her Certificate of Intellectual Property by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam. Her practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, representing clients in patent opposition and cancellation proceedings, providing advice on strategies for the maintenance and protection of intellectual property subject matters.

Ha has a strong background in chemistry, with a degree in chemistry from The Hanoi University of Technoloty in 2009, a degree in Law from Hanoi Law University in 2015, seven years as a patent executive in two big IP law firms prior to joining WINCO in 2017.

She also completed IP training courses held by WIPO and the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam (NOIP). She handles patents relating to chemical, pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology. She also assists with analyzing technical matters and assessing the possibility of infringement in patent infringement cases. In a region where generic drugs are increasingly promoted and given market access, she also helps pharmaceutical companies to list their products in the original brand-name lists issued by the Drug Administration of Vietnam.
