As a partner at WINCO, Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh oversees operations at the Hanoi office. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Hanoi University of Pharmacy in 1988. To further his expertise, he earned a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the same institution in 1991. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Hanoi Law University (1991) and a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages from the University of Foreign Languages (1993).
From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Anh worked as an expert for the Vietnam-Sweden Health Cooperation Program, where he contributed to initiatives aimed at improving healthcare systems and pharmaceutical practices in Vietnam.
He later transitioned into the field of intellectual property (IP), taking on significant roles such as Head of the Patent Department and Head of the IP Division at a leading IP law firm before joining WINCO. With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Anh has developed deep expertise in pharmaceuticals and chemistry, particularly in the intersection of IP law and pharmaceutical innovation. He specializes in patent drafting, IP enforcement, and regulatory compliance for pharmaceutical products.
Mr. Anh is also a sought-after speaker and has been invited as a lecturer at numerous national and international seminars on topics such as pharmaceutical patents, IP protection in the healthcare industry, and regulatory frameworks for drug development. He is a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), where he actively contributes to discussions on global IP trends.
